Dan Kōsich grew up around high quality replicas of Mesoamerican art and artifacts. Additionally, the death of his mother in 2018 and beloved uncle in 2019 profoundly impacted his approach to life and art. Dan slowly combined those deeply reaching influences with his own contemporary abstract interpretations which resulted in orthogonal acrylic and this art gallery.
Dan is a mechanical engineer, law graduate, and has painted all his life. Dan's grandmother Dorothy was an accomplished watercolor painter and introduced Dan to painting, and art, at a young age.

This style took years of meditation, attempts, and failures before arriving at a contemporary approach Dan could comfortably call his own.
